LOOSE CHANGE CAMPAIGN

This first campaign was launched in 2003 as “Kempen 1 Sen” which was participated by primary schools and extended to secondary schools at a later stage. The campaign proved to be very successful among school children and following its success, the Ministry of Education has encouraged MAKNA to continue running this campaign.
The campaign collects all loose change and has been renamed as “Kempen Kutip Syiling” (Loose Change Campaign).

You and your school are most welcome to join this campaign. You may now contribute to saving lives.

  • CHILDREN RAISE COINS FOR CANCER

Kempen Kutipan Syiling aims to create cancer awareness among students and encourage children to help make a difference to the lives of cancer patients.

  • THE POWER OF COINS, COLLECTED

It teaches that coins still has a role to play in our society. When the amount collected is significant, there is no stopping what it can do to help cancer patients.

  • DEVELOP CARING SCHOOLS

By learning to raise money for a good cause and coming to terms with the pains and struggles of cancer patients, these students are taught the important values in life and the benefits of working with their own student community which will help develop their personality, social skills and leadership.
