Cancer is a global disease. Hence, a synergised effort is key in order to create a widespread change and impact across the globe.
Since 2018, MAKNA has been a member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) with a Consultative status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).
Apart from assisting local cancer patients, we have started to extend our reach by helping refugees who are struggling with cancer. Apart from that, we also look towards forging partnerships with peers from all over the world in the effort to reduce the cancer burden.
