At MAKNA, we believe in the power of collective action, and this year, we were honored to step onto the global stage in the fight against cancer. Participating for the first time in the World Cancer Walk 2024 (WCW 2024), we proudly represented Malaysia alongside over 250 other cities around the world.

This unique event, a 24-hour relay walk spanning across continents and time zones, served as a powerful symbol of unity and hope. As we organized our own group walk here in Malaysia, with 100 passionate participants joining us both physically and virtually, we witnessed firsthand the incredible spirit of community and shared purpose.

WCW 2024 was more than just a walk; it was a catalyst for raising awareness about cancer, promoting healthy lifestyles, and demonstrating unwavering solidarity with the global cancer community. We are deeply proud to have been a part of this impactful event and humbled by the response from our fellow Malaysians. This experience strengthens our resolve in the fight for a cancer-free world, and we eagerly anticipate even greater participation in future walks. See you at the next one!
