In a recent collaboration with ANC Limited Store and Todak Culture Sdn Bhd, MAKNA participated in MUR MUR SALE, a weekend event that brought together lifestyle, fashion and gaming communities under one roof. With both brands having strong followers among youth and urban audiences, this partnership allowed us to connect with individuals who may not traditionally engage with cancer awareness efforts but are powerful voices for change in their circles.

MAKNA’s presence included free Clinical Breast Examinations, Stem Cell Registry sign-ups, cancer education through Virtual Reality (VR), an informative exhibition and an on-site fundraising campaign. These efforts were not only well-received but they even sparked real conversations. Participants were curious, open and eager to learn. For many, it was their first hands-on experience with cancer awareness and the interactive setup made the information less intimidating and more empowering instead.

At the heart of this initiative was the belief that awareness can and should take many forms. Whether through immersive technology or casual conversations across a pop-up booth, every touchpoint is an opportunity to shift mindsets and encourage early action.
