In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and its regulations, this notice is  issued to all interested parties. This Notice will inform you of your rights with regards to your  personal data that has been and/ or will be, collected and processed by us or our behalf and by  using our services/products or engaging/interact with us, you hereby give consent of processing  your personal data. 

We, at Majlis Kanser Nasional, are dedicated to serving our customers and contacts to the best  of our abilities. Part of our commitment involves the responsible management of personal  information collected through all of our website makna.org.my, donate.makna.org.my,  mscr.makna.org.my, and any related interactions.

At Majlis Kanser Nasional, we recognize and respect your rights regarding your personal  information, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and other applicable  data protection laws.   • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’): You have the right to request the deletion of  

your personal information when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it  was collected, among other circumstances. 

  • Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the  processing of your personal information under certain conditions. 
  • Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal information in  a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit those data  to another controller. 
  • Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal  information, under certain conditions, including processing for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where the processing of your personal information is  based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without  affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Disclosure of Personal Data 

We disclose or may disclose your personal data to our subsidiaries, related corporations,  affiliate, business partners, service provider (include without limitation our vendors, supplier,  insurance company, bank and/or financial institution(including payment channels), Royal  Malaysian Police, healthcare providers including hospital, government departments and/or  agencies, regulatory and/or statutory bodies, your immediate family members or emergency  contact person as may be notified to us from time to time, any party in relation to legal  proceedings, any party nominated or appointed by us either solely or jointly with other service  providers, data centre and/or servers, storage facility and records management service  providers located either within or outside Malaysia and any such third party requested or  authorized by you for any of the purposes. 

Third party personal data 

We may require your assistance if the personal data relating to other person is required to  process your personal data for the purposes and you hereby willingly to cooperate to assist us  when required. If the personal data of any third party is supplied by you to us, please confirm  that such third party has read this notices and consented to us to collecting his/her personal data  to us or that such third party has appointed you to act as his/her behalf to consent on his/her  behalf to the processing of his/her personal data in accordance with this Notice. 

Accuracy of your personal data 

You are responsible to ensure that the information you provided to us is accurate, complete,  and are kept up to date. 

Amendments 

We may update and amend this Notice from time to time. We will notify you of any  amendments to this Notice via announcement on our websites or any other appropriate  means. Please check to our website from time to time for amendments to this Notice, Any  such amendments will be effective upon notification to you. By continuing to use our  services and /or accessing our websites, or providing us with your services, after being  notified by any amendments to this Notice, you will be considered as having agreed to such  amendments.
